Materials Handler & Inventory Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; onsite role. The position requires access to ITAR-controlled information and items, so the hire must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Salary: $25–$35 per hour plus company equity.

What you will do

• Establish receiving, inventory, and kitting operations for avionics hardware.
• Kit materials for internal production customers and external suppliers.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile system records with physical inventory.
• Maintain ERP traceability for serialized and lot-controlled items.
• Handle sensitive and high-value aerospace components safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
• Support shipping through pickup coordination, packaging, and loading.

Requirements

• 2+ years of receiving, shipping, or inventory management experience with electrical components.
• Experience with inventory and kitting processes.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronics environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems, barcode scanners, and labeling systems.
• Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and ITAR compliance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and work independently with strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Lean or 5S warehouse experience.
• ISO 9001/AS9100 quality management and audit experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
