What you will do

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to design and implement best-practice Azure cloud solutions.
• Lead hands-on infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Architect foundational services for modern data platforms, including data lakes and machine learning environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application delivery.
• Provide ongoing operational support, security governance, and cost management for client environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert and mentor team members on cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK with the ability to commute to London for occasional sessions.
• Proven commercial experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Consultant role.
• In-depth expertise in core Microsoft Azure services and Azure Resource Manager.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative mindset for client-facing environments.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with AWS or GCP environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-native data services like Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse.
