Interim Accounts Assistant (Finance): Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions, supporting credit control, reconciliations, payment runs, and finance administration with an accent on accurate transactional finance support. Location: West of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom

Rate: £18–£20 per hour

Duration: Minimum 3–4 weeks, with potential to extend. Start: Immediate.

hirify.global is recruiting for an interim finance support role.

What you will do

Process high volumes of purchase ledger invoices.
Manage sales ledger activities and customer invoicing.
Support credit control by chasing outstanding debt and resolving payment queries.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and assist with payment runs.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Provide general finance administration and ad hoc support to the wider finance team.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar finance support role.
Strong experience across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
Experience using finance systems and Excel.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Available to start at short notice.
