What you will do
- Build full automation systems from a mixture of custom and off-the-shelf parts, ranging from end effectors to multi-tonne gantries.
- Take an active role in commissioning and testing robotics systems.
- Collaborate with the design team to resolve issues and implement design changes.
- Liaise with logistics partners to coordinate system shipment.
- Perform general workshop tasks, including machinery cleaning and consumable stocking.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret 3D CAD assemblies and build directly from them.
- Professional or hobbyist familiarity with Fusion 360 or other leading CAD systems (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.).
- Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Cambridge, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience with PLC commissioning and debugging, particularly Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Skills in CNC machining and cabinet wiring.
- Ability to set up and program a CNC mill.
