What you will do

• Partner with R&D during prototyping to simplify manual assembly and reduce errors.
• Apply MTM methodologies to estimate labor costs and establish standard assembly times.
• Design mistake-proofing (Poka-Yoke) features to ensure assembly accuracy.
• Provide ergonomic guidance to prevent repetitive strain injuries on the shop floor.
• Analyze manual operations to eliminate waste and improve throughput.
• Optimize production line balancing and facility layout to maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Certified MTM practitioner with proven experience in time-study and work-measurement on a live production floor.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, workplace ergonomics, and facility layout design.
• Ability to work onsite in Munich.
