TL;DR

Director, GTM Strategy & Planning (SaaS): Leading GTM strategy, coverage models, and revenue team segmentation to scale a global data infrastructure platform with an accent on aligning merged sales organizations and optimizing capacity models. Focus on designing global quota and territory plans, driving annual financial planning, and implementing AI-driven GTM productivity improvements.

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in or be able to work from Oakland, Denver, Austin, or New York offices (two days per week in-office)

Salary: $181,016 — $226,270 USD

What you will do

  • Lead, develop, and grow a team of GTM strategy and planning professionals to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Drive the annual GTM planning cycle, translating business objectives into an integrated plan across the revenue organization.
  • Own headcount planning, capacity modeling, and global quota-setting and territory design.
  • Lead strategic decisions on market segmentation, revenue team structure, and coverage model design.
  • Develop bottom-up pipeline models and targets, partnering with Finance on top-down analytical forecasts.
  • Identify and implement AI use cases to materially improve GTM productivity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, revenue, or GTM strategy within a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • 4+ years of experience managing and developing a high-functioning strategy team.
  • Proven experience owning quota design, territory planning, and headcount modeling at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen to build and pressure-test complex models.
  • Deep knowledge of consumption-based B2B SaaS GTM models and segmentation frameworks.
  • Ability to operate at the executive level, influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in data infrastructure, analytics, or adjacent technology categories.
  • Background in top-tier management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or equivalent).
  • Experience scaling a GTM strategy function through periods of rapid organizational growth.
