What you will do
- Develop a series of advocacy briefs on tackling child labour through responsible business conduct based on existing gaps and needs.
- Identify and deliver strategic opportunities to disseminate these briefs to governments, private sector actors, and industry platforms.
- Align advocacy efforts with the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).
- Create a stakeholder engagement plan with tailored approaches for governments, companies, and investors.
- Develop actionable messages to reduce the structural drivers of child labour across supply chains.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master’s) in Human Rights, International Development, Public Policy, Law, or Social Sciences.
- 7–10 years of professional experience in child rights, child labour, or responsible business conduct.
- Demonstrated experience in developing advocacy briefs, policy papers, or analytical reports for international organizations.
- Proven understanding of HRDD frameworks, including UNGPs and OECD Guidelines.
- Strong writing skills in English for crafting high-quality briefs for diverse audiences.
Nice to have
