What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations in accordance with local legislation, IFRS, and best practices.
• Perform month-end accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Control and approve payments for payroll, invoices, taxes, and other obligations.
• Prepare VAT, CIT, and fiscal returns, and support all required financial declarations for public institutions.
• Oversee accounting processes for the local entity, including payroll processing and consolidation reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and coordinate with external auditors during audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of tax and labor code legislation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Must be located in or able to work from Warsaw, Poland.
