What you will do

• Interpret global regulatory and safety requirements for electrified products.
• Assess technical solutions, identify hazards, and document actions for safe product development of battery and powertrain systems.
• Lead risk assessments and identify necessary risk reduction measures throughout the development process.
• Define compliance and verification evidence to align with product safety standards and legal requirements.
• Resolve technical issues by applying functional safety principles and engineering best practices.
• Provide proactive compliance guidance to cross-functional teams from early concept to product delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Control System, or related).
• Proven experience in engineering compliance, product safety, or verification roles.
• Working knowledge of producing and applying risk assessments and hazard analyses.
• Experience implementing standards: IEC 60204-1, ISO 12100, ISO 13849, and IEC 61508.
• Ability to translate complex standards into clear engineering requirements and design constraints.
• Must be based in the UK; Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
