Location: Must be based in the UK, field-based role with extensive travel required, predominantly in Bristol and Derby.

Salary: Circa £45,000

What you will do

• Conduct fire risk assessments in accordance with current legislation and best practice guidance.
• Identify and highlight fire safety risks, providing clear recommendations and escalating high-risk concerns.
• Produce, review, and quality check detailed technical fire risk assessment reports.
• Liaise with clients professionally, providing technical advice and support throughout the assessment process.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all assessment data is uploaded correctly to digital systems.
• Travel to client sites extensively and support business needs through occasional out-of-hours or weekend working.

Requirements

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel extensively.
• Minimum 12 months of experience conducting fire risk assessments in commercial, industrial, or residential environments.
• Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety (Level 4 preferred).
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple site visits and assessment schedules.
• Experience using digital devices and reporting platforms for data management.

Nice to have

• NEBOSH Fire Qualification.
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• Experience assessing complex or industrial premises.
• Experience conducting technical reviews or audits of fire risk assessments.
