What you will do
- Own and evolve brand strategy, positioning, and creative vision in partnership with executive stakeholders.
- Define consistent creative direction across websites, social channels, events, and product experiences.
- Establish visual identity standards, including motion, illustration, voice, and tone.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of brand designers, fostering a culture of creative excellence.
- Create scalable brand systems, guidelines, and asset libraries to support company growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing on strategic company initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as an Art Director or Creative Director, ideally in SaaS or technical industries.
- Proven track record of managing and developing creative talent.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating brand vision and impactful execution.
- Deep understanding of scalable design processes and brand guidelines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical audiences, including developers and technical buyers.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience evolving a brand from developer-focused toward enterprise-level positioning.
- Understanding of how AI-native products influence branding and user experiences.
- Experience leading creative direction for events, conferences, and community experiences.
- Familiarity with design engineering, prototyping, motion, or working closely with code.
