TL;DR
AI Engineer (Python/GCP): Design and build production-grade agentic AI systems and distributed architectures for a global bank network with an accent on multi-agent orchestration and RAG pipelines. Focus on implement tool-call loops, agent memory mechanisms, and ensur AI safety in a regulated financial environment.
Location: Hybrid in Istanbul, Türkiye (2 days per week at Vadistanbul office, with one fully remote week per month and full remote in August)

What you will do
- Design and build cloud-native distributed AI systems and robust microservices us Python.
- Develop multi-agent orchestration architectures, includ orchestrator and sub-agent topologies.
- Implement tool-call loops, agent handoff protocols, and short/long-term memory mechanisms.
- Operate and optimize RAG pipelines and vector-based retrieval systems.
- Deploy and manage applications us Kubernetes, OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain secure and governed AI systems, focus on prompt injection protection and output validation.
Requirements
- Strong Python programm skills and experience with asynchronous programm models.
- Hands-on experience with GCP (Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery) and Terraform.
- Proven track record of shipp AI-powered services or RAG systems into production environments.
- Practical experience with LLMs (Gemini, Claude) and multi-agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and software engineer fundamentals.
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Istanbul, Türkiye.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and OpenAPI governance.
- Contributions to open-source projects or experience build high-load APIs.
- Background in bank, fintech, or other regulated industries.
