Chapter Lead AI/LLM Data Scientist in Agentic AI

Location: Istanbul, Vadistanbul Park, Türkiye; hybrid work with office attendance two days per week during three weeks of each month and one fully remote week per month. Remote work is available throughout August.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a chapter of AI/LLM Data Scientists, supporting performance, growth, and career development.
• Design, build, and deploy production-grade Agentic AI solutions powered by Large Language Models.
• Guide the development of AI agents and multi-agent systems that interact with tools, APIs, data sources, and business applications.
• Establish practices for AI engineering, experimentation, evaluation, governance, safety, and responsible AI.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Platform, MLOps, Architecture, and business stakeholders to operationalize AI solutions at scale.
• Support capacity planning, workforce strategies, and the development of ING’s global Agentic AI roadmap.

Requirements

• Significant experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, NLP, Generative AI, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing technical professionals in Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade AI solutions across the full lifecycle.
• Strong Python skills and experience designing LLM-powered applications and modern AI architectures.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies; familiarity with retrieval systems, vector databases, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Fluent English is required. Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry is advantageous.
