What you will do

• Develop and manage SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler to support system architecture and design.
• Create engineering artifacts including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), requirements tables, and dependency matrices.
• Ensure model consistency and quality by applying SysML metamodel best practices.
• Maintain traceability between system requirements, architecture, and implementation artifacts.
• Collaborate with systems and software engineers to ensure models accurately represent design intent.
• Support model reviews, configuration management, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SysML modeling using Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw/NoMagic).
• Deep understanding of the SysML metamodel, XMI export/import, and model interchange limitations.
• Experience authoring MBSE artifacts like ICDs, state machines, and sequence diagrams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience with FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) Universal Data Definition Language (UDDL).
• Background in defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems engineering.
• Familiarity with DoD digital engineering initiatives and model governance.
