What you will do

• Design and maintain NLP pipelines for information extraction, summarization, and semantic search.
• Build and optimize LLM-powered applications using fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Process complex technical corpora including engineering manuals, specifications, and technical reports.
• Convert unstructured and semi-structured documents into structured, machine-actionable knowledge.
• Implement scalable ML solutions using Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Evaluate model performance and optimize inference pipelines for production environments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience building NLP pipelines for technical document understanding.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformer architectures, fine-tuning, and RAG.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience processing complex technical documentation and artifacts.

Nice to have

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field.
• Experience deploying production-scale NLP or LLM applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding models, and semantic retrieval.
• Experience with document parsing, OCR, or layout-aware models.
• Background in defense, aerospace, or manufacturing datasets.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based AI infrastructure.
