Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects, providing strategic consultation on data architecture, governance, and instrumentation.
- Bridge the technical-business gap by working with senior stakeholders to define success criteria for proof-of-concepts.
- Partner with Account Executives to drive revenue growth across the ANZ region.
- Lead technical qualification for customer use cases and deliver customized product demonstrations.
- Consult on data ingestion methods, overall architecture, and rollout strategies for analytics tools.
- Collect and share prospect feedback with the Product team to influence future development.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a Software-as-a-Service Sales Engineering or related role.
- Demonstrated track record of qualifying and selling technical solutions to executive stakeholders in the Australian market.
- Experience in data querying, modeling, and transformation using tools such as SQL, dbt, or Python.
- Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, or major cloud providers.
- Strong process and project delivery discipline with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the ANZ region and occasionally across APJ.
Nice to have
- Experience with value engineering frameworks and ROI calculators.
- Background in high-growth SaaS environments (Series B–E or beyond).
- Familiarity with the ANZ partner, system integrator, or channel ecosystem.
- Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) environments.
