Company

Develops Pulsar, a Low Earth Orbit satellite infrastructure platform for precise, resilient global positioning and navigational intelligence.

What you will do

  • Create and maintain engineering documentation across spacecraft bus, payload, Guidance Navigation and Control, flight software, and subsystem teams.
  • Attend design reviews and translate engineering input into interface control documents, test procedures, design specifications, and review packages.
  • Own the organization, tracking, approval, and delivery of launch campaign documentation, including readiness reviews, mission assurance materials, range safety submissions, and launch reports.
  • Prepare contract deliverables, reports, data packages, compliance documents, and documentation supporting FCC/NOAA licensing and orbital debris mitigation.
  • Develop service-level agreements, escalation paths, system configuration documentation, manufacturing work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Establish document-control systems, templates, versioning standards, and processes across distributed engineering and manufacturing sites.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of technical writing experience in aerospace, defense, hardware manufacturing, or a similarly technical field.
  • Experience working directly with engineers to extract technical content and produce accurate, actionable documentation.
  • Ability to create documentation templates and review technical content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation workstreams independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • For this U.S. role, eligibility under U.S. space technology export regulations is required.
  • Ability to ask clarifying questions and resolve unclear requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience documenting spacecraft, satellite, or precision hardware development programs.
  • Experience managing documentation for launch campaigns or other high-stakes review cycles.
  • Experience supporting PDR, CDR, MRR, or similar program reviews.
  • Proficiency with Confluence, Google Workspace, or similar documentation tools.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing work instructions, SOPs, quality management systems, or program management.

Culture & Benefits

  • Cross-functional work spanning engineering, launch, manufacturing, safety, program, and operations teams.
  • Opportunity to establish documentation systems and standards as the program scales.
  • Equity may be included in the compensation package.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to equal employment opportunity and diversity.
