Salary: $72,000–$96,500 per year, plus potential bonus or long-term incentive units and benefits.

What you will do
- Develop and modify safety-critical engineering, safety, maintenance, operational, and training documentation.
- Translate input from quality engineering, facilities engineering, and safety services into standardized formal procedures.
- Apply configuration management, version control, documentation review, approval, and compliance processes.
- Use documentation, learning management, and distribution systems to create and publish materials for user groups.
- Review applicable standards and industry guidelines and communicate project progress to leadership.
- Set up completed documentation in appropriate systems and update sustainment guidelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in technical publications or documentation.
- Ability to translate technical training requirements into technical documents, operational guidelines, and training documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and relevant learning or document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, initiative, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and technologies and work cross-functionally.
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and offsite when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Performance Alignment model.
- Familiarity with maritime standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with D Learn, Maximo, Adobe FrameMaker, or instructional design.
- Theme park or themed entertainment experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, technical documentation, training and development, engineering, or a related field; instructional design degree preferred.
