TL;DR
Research Professional (Consulting): Supporting management consulting teams by conducting secondary research, synthesizing market data, and delivering actionable insights with an accent on industry-specific analysis and proprietary database utilization. Focus on managing complex research pipelines, applying Generative AI to enhance deliverables, and collaborating with international consultants to solve strategic client challenges.
Location: Must have current Malaysian work rights; no visa sponsorship provided. Hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the local office.

What you will do
- Utilize proprietary databases and information tools to provide quick solutions and in-depth research.
- Synthesize complex information to identify key concepts, trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with consultants on client service, business development, and intellectual capital projects.
- Manage a pipeline of industry-specific tasks independently, setting priorities to meet client demands.
- Build trusted relationships with practice members to promote effective knowledge sharing.
- Produce graphical portrayals of research findings using MS Office tools.
Requirements
- Must have current Malaysian work rights; no visa sponsorship provided.
- 3-5 years of experience as a research professional in consulting, finance, or technology.
- Familiarity with market data resources such as Bloomberg, LSEG-Eikon-Refinitiv, or S&P Capital IQ.
- Excellent Excel skills and proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Ability to apply Generative AI tools to enhance research efficiency and quality.
- Strong communication and research synthesis skills with high attention to detail.
