What you will do

• Design and ship highly available, fault-tolerant services for analytics ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Own the full data lifecycle from streaming ingestion to structured and unstructured storage and search.
• Deploy, automate, and maintain large-scale AWS infrastructure using modern IaC practices.
• Partner with product managers and data scientists to transform complex requirements into production-ready tools.
• Troubleshoot production incidents with urgency, utilizing AI-assisted workflows to identify root causes.
• Mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and help teams resolve platform-level technical challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience building and operating scalable, production-grade software systems.
• Strong Java development expertise, specifically with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
• Practical experience with Apache Druid or Apache Flink for large-scale analytics.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to design and operate highly available distributed systems with a focus on performance and automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Python for tooling and automation.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
