What you will do

• Own the design, delivery, and production support of reliable distributed services and platform enhancements.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and participate in technical design discussions.
• Troubleshoot production issues to drive improvements in reliability and scalability.
• Support internal development teams by providing technical guidance, sample code, and reusable patterns.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the stability of production systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience building production backend software in Go, Java, Python, or similar.
• Proven experience building and operating software on cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Ability to own technical work from implementation through to production support.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues using pragmatic decision-making.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Strong production experience specifically with the Go language.
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, or Step Functions.
• Proficiency with containers, orchestration, and observability tooling (logging, tracing, metrics).
• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals.
• Experience contributing to internal platforms or developer tooling.
