What you will do

• Design, develop, and support Java applications and Spring Boot microservices for connected vehicle network connectivity.
• Integrate third-party vendor dependencies with a focus on API integration.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-based messaging integrations using Kafka and/or Azure EventHub patterns.
• Troubleshoot issues across a complex microservices ecosystem and support production deployments with post-deployment validation.
• Deliver Agile user stories independently and translate business requirements into user stories and technical tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot–based microservices and CI/build/delivery practices using Spring/Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and event-based messaging; familiarity with Azure EventHub (and some legacy Kafka).
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services and production deployment support with post-release validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and work independently in an Agile environment.
