What you will do

• Review and assess the current EU Battery Regulation compliance plan for regulatory alignment.
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, and implementation risks within the existing strategy.
• Define producer obligations across various supply chain and reseller scenarios.
• Advise on labeling strategies for motors and finished products, including date coding.
• Provide guidance on EPR obligations, including registration, reporting, and recycling programs.
• Ensure the organization has an actionable compliance roadmap for 2025-2027 deadlines.

Requirements

• Must have direct, hands-on experience implementing or advising on EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542.
• Must be based in Europe.
• Experience supporting manufacturers selling battery-related products in the European market.
• Strong understanding of producer responsibility, EPR frameworks, and recycling obligations.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into operational implementation plans.
• Experience working cross-functionally with legal, operations, and supply chain teams.
