Salary: $118,000 – $150,000 Annually

What you will do

• Define and own the QA strategy and roadmap for Team Artemis, setting standards for automated and AI-assisted testing.
• Architect and implement end-to-end test automation solutions using Playwright and Claude Code.
• Lead, manage, and grow the outsourced QA team, establishing clear standards and a culture of quality.
• Drive adoption of AI-native testing practices, including agentic test generation and AI-assisted defect triage.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and deploy new features for a complex SaaS platform.

Requirements

• 8-11 years of experience in software engineering, testing, or QA roles.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Irvine, CA office (Hybrid).
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or Anthropic AI APIs, including writing prompts and agentic workflows.
• Proficiency in programming, ideally JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or technically influence offshore or outsourced engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or dental industry domain knowledge (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
• Experience with AI-powered tools like Applitools, Testim, Mabl, TestRigor, or UI-TARS.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr Scale.
