People Operations (SaaS): Architecting and optimizing the end-to-end employee lifecycle and People Ops infrastructure with an accent on process automation and system scalability. Focus on redesigning operational workflows, administering the HRIS (Rippling), and ensuring multi-state US compliance.
Location: Must be based in the United States. Priority is given to candidates in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco.
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Architect and document the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and leaves.
- Analyze and redesign People team workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce administrative burden for HRBPs.
- Act as the primary system administrator for the HRIS (Rippling), focusing on configuration, integration, and automation.
- Develop operational playbooks, templates, and self-service tools for managers and HRBPs.
- Manage People Operations compliance, including I-9, E-Verify, state registrations, and audit readiness.
- Track and report on operational metrics such as cycle times, manual steps, and system utilization.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations, preferably in high-growth SaaS.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Hands-on HRIS administration experience (Rippling preferred; Workday, BambooHR, or Personio equivalent).
- Proven ability in process design, workflow mapping, and efficiency optimization.
- Working knowledge of multi-state US employment compliance.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating clear process documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with HRIS implementation or full-cycle deployment.
- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience managing multi-state or multi-entity operations.
- Experience enabling HRBPs within a partner model.
