Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 a year

What you will do

• Design and deploy ExtraHop sensor architectures across physical, virtual, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Configure packetstores for retention, query performance, and compliance in high-throughput environments.
• Create custom detections and dashboards in Reveal(x) to map wire data to SOC workflows.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations between ExtraHop and SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, and CMDB platforms.
• Conduct network visibility assessments to identify blind spots and segmentation gaps.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to comprehensive technical solution designs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with ExtraHop Reveal(x) or similar NDR solutions.
• Strong grasp of wire data analysis: L2-L7 protocol behavior and TLS/SSL decryption.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for automation and workflow optimization.
• Working knowledge of major SIEMs (Splunk, XSIAM, Crowdstrike) and integration experience.
• Expertise in proactive threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, or CIS controls.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• ExtraHop certification (ECS) or industry certifications like CISSP, CYSA, CEH, or OSCP.
• Experience with cloud traffic mirroring (AWS VPC Traffic Mirroring, Azure vTAP, or GCP Packet Mirroring).
