What you will do

• Build the Security Data Backbone by designing and operating high-scale data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and enrich security telemetry for detection and response functions.
• Engineer Internal Security Platforms to manage secrets, identity perimeters, and security guardrails at scale.
• Write production-grade services to automate complex security workflows.
• Establish automated security guardrails and modules that ensure cloud resources are secure by default.
• Partner with platform and product engineering to integrate security requirements into the developer lifecycle.
• Influence the selection of the security stack, evaluating build vs. buy for core security tooling, and establishing engineering standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of infrastructure-as-code experience in a cloud-first organization.
• Experience building in cloud-native environments (GCP or AWS).
• Experience designing for high availability and scale.
• Expert proficiency in at least one modern general-purpose language (Python is a plus).
• Ability to drive cross-functional technical projects that impact security posture across the entire organization.
• Ability to weigh security risks against business velocity, choosing solutions that empower internal partners and developers.
