TL;DR

Manager, Software Engineering (Fullstack): Managing and mentoring a team of full-stack developers to deliver scalable services in a fast-paced environment with an accent on high availability and mission-critical systems. Focus on designing scalable services using AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows while ensuring architectural integrity and security.

Location: Must be based in the US (Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, or Seattle) and work in the office 4+ days per week

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of full-stack developers in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environment.
  • Set the strategy, build a roadmap, and create measurable goals to lead the team to delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science, Engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Evaluate technical tradeoffs of major decisions and provide strong technical mentorship.
  • Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Utilize AI tools and high velocity engineering workflows to design and ship scalable services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9+ years of software development experience (or Master's + 7 years / PhD + 3 years).
  • 1+ years of experience managing a team or acting as a technical lead.
  • Experience with distributed systems and web development.
  • Background with building high availability and mission critical systems.
  • Must be based in the USA and available to work in-office 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience driving large scale initiatives from ideation to completion.
  • Track record of delivery in rapidly changing, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Experience with Ops-heavy systems or products.
