What you will do
- Develop and maintain database solutions and data warehouse architectures using MSSQL and MySQL.
- Build and manage efficient ETL processes using SSIS, BIML, and DBT.
- Implement and manage enterprise-scale analytics solutions within Power BI Fabric.
- Optimize database performance through advanced indexing, execution plan analysis, and tuning.
- Automate database operations and maintenance tasks using PowerShell and Python.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data security and compliance.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- 3+ years of experience in database development and data warehouse solutions.
- Strong proficiency in MSSQL 2019/2022 and MySQL 8 with expert-level SQL programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks including SSIS, BIML, and DBT.
- Experience with Power BI Fabric and dimensional modeling principles.
- Proficiency in scripting with Python and PowerShell for automation.
Nice to have
- Certification in Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
