IT System Administrator (AWS, Azure)

What you will do

• Administer and monitor workloads across AWS and Microsoft Azure, managing provisioning, cost visibility, and security configurations.
• Manage the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and user lifecycle processes.
• Perform routine system administration, patching, and maintenance across endpoints and cloud-hosted systems.
• Support managed IT and security SaaS platforms, including RMM/MDM and compliance automation tooling.
• Develop PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts to automate repetitive administrative tasks and reporting.
• Maintain security configurations and audit-readiness in alignment with Department of War (DoW) requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on IT system administration experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS and practical administration experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and identity management (Entra ID).
• Basic scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
• Experience supporting or operating within Department of War (DoW) environments.
• US Citizenship required

Nice to have

• Experience operating in a GCC-High (Microsoft 365 Government) environment.
• Familiarity with DoW/DoD security frameworks (NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or DISA STIGs).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps, Azure Administrator, or Microsoft 365 Certified.
• Active or eligible for a US security clearance.
