What you will do

• Manage, analyze, and process survey data using Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D.
• Create 3D surfaces, contours, alignments, and cross sections.
• Research survey records and land titles to determine property boundaries.
• Develop survey base plans, legal plans, and other technical drawings from survey data.
• Perform complex survey calculations including coordinate geometry, volumes, and cross sections.
• Conduct quality control (QC) on survey data and final survey plans.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology or GIS.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Survey Technician and at least 1 year of field experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong understanding of survey principles and BC land titles systems.
• Eligible for Registration as AScT or C.Tech. with ASTTBC.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Burnaby, BC.
