What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable, high-quality Java software solutions for key components of the Workforce Management platform.
• Own large features and services from initial concept through design, implementation, and production support.
• Design and optimize AI-assisted workflows, including coding agents, prompts, and tool integrations.
• Establish best practices for spec-driven and AI-assisted development to improve engineering velocity.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, architectural guidance, and robust testing strategies.
• Mentor and coach other engineers to elevate overall engineering standards across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience developing enterprise web applications.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful Web Services.
• Experience owning complex features end-to-end in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
• Proven success in designing, building, and supporting production software with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Richardson, TX office.

• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber.
• AWS cloud experience and CI/CD expertise with Jenkins and Maven.
