What you will do

• Develop, enhance, support, and maintain firm software solutions for global business lines.
• Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), UAT, and deployment.
• Design and implement scalable technology solutions using internal and open-source services.
• Collaborate on solution designs with internal teams and identify external technologies to transform financial businesses and internal platforms.
• Work across all phases of the SDLC to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
• Design and maintain robust testing suites and provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) with 5 years of experience in the offered role or related software engineering role, or Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) with 3 years.
• Prior experience must include 5 years with a Bachelor’s or 3 years with a Master’s in C++ or Java.
• Prior experience must include database query languages including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
• Prior experience must include full SDLC: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Prior experience must include 2 years building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within a Unix environment.
• Prior experience must include microservices architecture design and development including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies.
