Location: Must be based in Detroit, Michigan, USA (In-person)

What you will do

  • Lead and supervise a team of Vehicle Safety Officers (VSOs) during shifts, providing guidance and direction.
  • Oversee day-to-day fleet operations, including work schedules, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
  • Act as the central point of contact for OEM initiatives and cascade instructions to the VSO team.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure all operations comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Monitor on-road testing quality and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Manage on-road incidents as the initial Operations Officer according to the Major Incident Management Plan.

Requirements

  • English: C1 (fluent) required
  • Proven experience as a team coordinator or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong communication skills for 1:1 management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Full clean driving license with at least 5 years of driving experience.
  • No blameworthy insurance claims in the past three years.
  • Employment is contingent upon passing random drug and alcohol testing
