Legal Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Chicago (Union Square office mentioned)

Salary: $225,000 – $325,000 OTE + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

• Act as a thought partner to tax partners and legal advisory leaders to identify high-value opportunities for platform scaling.
• Own client relationships from pilots and onboarding to firm-wide adoption across Big 4 and professional services firms.
• Serve as the voice of tax and legal users to inform product development and roadmap priorities.
• Deliver high-impact product demos and training to global advisory teams.
• Develop scalable playbooks and document best practices from leading professional services firms.
• Guide clients in evaluating the ROI and competitive advantage of AI within their service lines.

Requirements

• Background in law or tax with experience at a Big 4 firm or leading professional services practice.
• Strong familiarity with generative AI, technology implementation, and productivity innovation.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders, from engineers to partners.
• Experience improving processes within tax compliance, regulatory analysis, or multi-jurisdictional advisory work.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Understanding of commercial realities and value delivery in professional services.
