What you will do

• Design and build ML models and systems to identify risky transactions and behavior in production.
• Implement advanced modeling techniques for adversarial domains, including graph-based methods and anomaly detection.
• Develop rigorous offline and online evaluation methodologies for extreme class imbalance and adversarial drift.
• Translate prototypes into reliable production systems meeting real-time latency and monitoring requirements.
• Mentor the team and raise the scientific bar through experiment design reviews and research integration.
• Collaborate with data scientists and risk operations to translate emerging fraud patterns into modeling opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, ML, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying ML systems from idea to production.
• Strong grounding in ML fundamentals and experimental design.
• 5+ years of Python programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience in fraud, risk, abuse, or trust and safety domains.
• Publications, patents, or open-source research contributions.
• Expertise in graph ML, sequence modeling, causal inference, or LLM applications for risk.
