What you will do

• Develop and deploy production-grade machine learning models using supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques.
• Design experiments and conduct rigorous offline and online evaluations, including A/B tests and causal analyses.
• Fine-tune and prompt-engineer large language models (LLMs) for domain-specific tasks.
• Collaborate with data engineering to define the features, datasets, and pipelines necessary for training and inference.
• Build monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track model performance, drift, and fairness.
• Mentor other data scientists and establish high standards for modeling rigor across the team.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for training, serving, and scaling models.
• Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning techniques like LoRA, RLHF, and instruction tuning.
• Must be based in Canada or the United States.
