What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of engineering, construction, and engineered equipment contracts.
• Develop procurement strategies and contracting plans for capital and maintenance projects.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Administer contracts during execution, managing change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Partner with Legal and Risk Management teams to mitigate contractual risks.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Contract Administration, Procurement, or Project Management within the construction/engineering industry.
• Proven experience negotiating and administering high-value engineering contracts.
• Strong understanding of contractual risk management and commercial capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Tampa, FL office (Midtown).

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP or SAP.
• Proficiency with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, specifically SMART by GEP.
• Experience in the utility or energy industry.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
