What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and suites for software features and system functionality.
• Enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, scalability, and efficiency.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression test plans to validate product releases.
• Analyze test results, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Build and maintain test environments and configure topologies for realistic deployment scenarios.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation.
• Proficiency in Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience working in Linux-based development and test environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with experience using Git, Bitbucket, and JIRA.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with PON technologies (GPON, XGS-PON) and OLT/ONU architectures.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (Ethernet, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching).
• Experience with traffic generation tools like Ixia, Spirent, or Xena.
• Familiarity with broadband service delivery technologies (VLANs, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE).
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and automation technologies.
