What you will do

• Validate wired networking protocols such as VLAN, IP, STP, BGP, and MPLS or Enterprise Wireless LAN.
• Test network security concepts including AAA, 802.1X, VPN, Captive Portal, and Firewalls.
• Verify cloud-native distributed systems utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
• Triage and resolve complex customer or field issues within large-scale production environments.
• Perform deep root cause analysis across networking, application, OS, and cloud layers.
• Build and utilize AI and automation tools for log analysis and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in wired networking protocols or Enterprise Wireless LAN testing.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Python or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure services like DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, and LDAP.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with traffic generation tools such as Ixia or Spirent.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies including ESX and Hyper-V.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CWNA/CWSP, CompTIA Security+, or cloud-specific certifications.
