Location: Must be based in the US or Canada. Hybrid work is required for those local to hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, New York City) with a minimum of two days per week in the office.

Salary: $158,100 – $213,900 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize serverless, event-driven backend services on AWS.
• Build real-time communication infrastructure using WebRTC, SIP, and LiveKit.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across a distributed, mission-critical SaaS environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Extensive experience building web and real-time applications using Node.js on a serverless AWS stack.
• Proficiency with real-time voice and video technologies including WebRTC, VoIP/SIP, and LiveKit.
• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining production-grade code at scale.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile, distributed team environment.
