What you will do

• Shape the technical direction and architecture of the Kiro autonomous developer tool.
• Translate real-world development challenges into product capabilities through direct customer interaction.
• Build and operate production systems using industry-leading CI/CD practices.
• Manage session state, context, and agent workflows within a scalable architecture.
• Collaborate on code reviews, mentorship, and technical project ownership.
• Ensure responsiveness, ergonomics, and cross-platform consistency for developer tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in system design, architecture, reliability, and scaling.
• Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
