Location: Based in the National Capital Region, with the ability to work out of Scale’s D.C. office 2-3 days a week.

What you will do

• Own full-spectrum capture and quota for multi-million dollar annual revenue, from opportunity shaping through contract award and revenue recognition.
• Execute tactically by drafting white papers, leading complex proposal development, and structuring defense contracting deals.
• Drive operational transition post-signature by serving as primary customer point of contact and enabling delivery teams for mission success.
• Own long-term account strategy: identify next use cases, secure follow-on funding, and drive 10x growth from single deployments to enterprise standards.
• Co-design Agentic AI workflows with technical teams and end-users, translating customer vision into buildable technical requirements.
• Orchestrate SI and Defense Prime partnerships by managing negotiations and teaming/subcontracting agreements.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in complex enterprise IT sales or business development specifically within DoW/IC.
• Proven track record closing and implementing multi-year deals exceeding $25M.
• Domain expertise in DoD modernization priorities, including AI/ML, computer vision, or autonomous systems.
• Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI is strongly preferred.
• Geography: Based in the National Capital Region and able to work from Scale’s D.C. office 2-3 days a week.
• Ability to travel 20–30% of the time.
