What you will do

• Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns.
• Process tax payments and remittances via agency portals and electronic systems.
• Reconcile tax liabilities, payments, and agency balances.
• Research and resolve tax notices, inquiries, and agency correspondence.
• Maintain tax filing calendars and ensure compliance with all deadlines.
• Register businesses with tax agencies and maintain account information.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on federal, state, and local tax compliance experience.
• Proven experience preparing and filing tax returns and processing remittances.
• Strong ability to research and resolve tax notices and agency correspondence.
• Experience performing manual tax filings and working with tax agency portals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with tax compliance software and electronic filing platforms.
• Experience with multi-state tax compliance.
• SAP experience.
• Experience registering entities with tax agencies.
