TL;DR

Director of Customer Success (Digital Advertising/Programmatic): Lead customer engagement, growth, and retention strategy across hirify.global’s East Coast accounts with an accent on churn reduction, client advocacy, and executive-level relationship management. Focus on building and guiding a high-performing Customer Success team while translating programmatic advertising and trust & safety insights into measurable account health and ROI-driven recommendations.

What you will do

  • Set and execute customer engagement, growth, and retention strategy with a focus on churn reduction and client advocacy.
  • Own and manage key client relationships across programmatic ecosystem accounts (SSPs, DSPs, ad exchanges, agencies, publishers).
  • Advise clients on achieving business goals and address concerns related to ad fraud prevention and privacy compliance.
  • Use data-driven monitoring of engagement metrics, team KPIs, and account health to identify risk and drive decisive next steps.
  • Stay current on the competitive landscape, industry developments, and standards.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop and optimize upsell and cross-sell strategies.

Requirements

  • Location: Hybrid in VA or NY; U.S.-based applicants only
  • 4+ years of experience in client-facing customer success, technical account management, and/or technical sales roles in programmatic/digital advertising technology (SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, advertisers, agencies, publishers, ad networks).
  • Advanced experience creating strategies, guidelines, and objectives to drive customer engagement, growth, and retention.
  • Proven ability to lead a high-performing Customer Success team with demonstrated performance and revenue goal achievements.
  • Expert understanding of Invalid Traffic (IVT) and viewability in digital advertising.
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic digital advertising and ad operations tools/practices (e.g., campaign optimization, JavaScript, tagging, cookies, macros, platforms) plus ability to run C-level conversations.
