What you will do

• Review physician charges and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with CPT and ICD-10 guidelines.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and charge capture errors to minimize claim denials.
• Manage the charge capture process, including ensuring timely authorizations and collaborating with practice staff.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable teams to analyze denied claims and ensure optimal reimbursement.
• Analyze denial trends and conduct internal audits to support revenue integrity and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain reports tracking reimbursement performance and collection activity.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada or the United States.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in physician billing, AR management, or revenue integrity.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency in EHR and billing systems such as Epic, Athena, or eClinicalWorks.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
