Salary: $70,000 - 120,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead complex analytical, statistical, and applied AI workstreams across multiple business areas and stakeholder groups.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into structured analytical strategies, model designs, and validation plans.
• Design and execute models for use cases including segmentation, forecasting, propensity modeling, and anomaly detection.
• Develop and optimize reproducible workflows and analytical assets within Databricks and other cloud-based environments.
• Implement and evaluate LLM-enabled or AI-assisted workflows to enhance insight generation and analytical productivity.
• Mentor junior and mid-level practitioners through technical guidance and quality reviews of deliverables.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in statistics, probability, machine learning, and analytical problem solving.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the data science stack (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark (PySpark), SQL, and MLflow.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP (Vertex AI) or Microsoft Azure.
• English fluency (C1) required for collaboration with distributed teams across the Americas and Europe.
• Must be based in Ontario or Québec, Canada.

Nice to have

• Databricks associate or professional-level certification.
• Cloud certifications in data, ML, or AI from Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience or training in leadership, coaching, or people management.
