Senior Documentation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Manage an AI-powered documentation system based on docs-as-code and Git, continuously improving tools and processes.
• Produce high-quality developer and functional documentation with a clear separation of content types.
• Own the information hierarchy and enforce writing style guidelines, terminology, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with R&D product managers and developers to translate technical knowledge into effective instructions for AI tools.
• Act as a user advocate, translating audience pain points into strategic advice for value stream leadership.

Requirements

• 4-10 years of experience as a documentation specialist or technical writer focusing on developer documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering or a related field.
• Strong aptitude for technology and professional-level language proficiency.
• Proven ability to oversee complex documentation projects with various stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to maintain professional office attendance in Cardiff.
