VoidZero Developer Relations Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid; available locations are Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Seoul, Lisbon, or London

Salary: €54,000–€80,000 annual salary for Portugal-based hires, including estimated on-target incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Create developer education content across documentation, technical videos, livestreams, talks, tutorials, and code.
• Represent developer feedback, problems, and usability issues in product discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships across developer communities on Twitter, Discord, and YouTube.
• Collaborate with open-source peers, partners, and maintainers on integrations and extensions for VoidZero projects.
• Work with product development, engineering, and marketing to align content with company and ecosystem goals.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer, ML engineer, or developer relations professional, with hands-on coding ability.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience and extensive knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem.
• Experience building developer communities across Twitter, Discord, and YouTube.
• Demonstrated experience creating blog posts, talks, tutorials, and videos for developers.
• Clear spoken and written communication, cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Passion for open source and developer communities.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining open-source projects.
• Familiarity with Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+.
• Experience building with AI tooling and large language models.
• Strong analytical, debugging, data-oriented, and systems-oriented problem-solving skills.
• Ability to speak and write in multiple languages.
