What you will do

• Lead multi-quarter initiatives spanning AI, product, and infrastructure, such as new orchestration layers or unified knowledge bases.
• Architect and implement backend services using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS to power generative AI agents.
• Develop AI orchestration capabilities, including routing, tool calling, MCP servers, and robust error handling for third-party LLMs.
• Optimize systems for high-throughput, low-latency AI workloads using caching, queuing, and vector store indexing strategies.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers to raise the bar for system design and AI integration practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in full-stack development, building scalable cloud-based applications and AI-driven products.
• Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Strong background in distributed systems, data modeling, and performance tuning under load.
• Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from architecture through to rollout and operation.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into production applications.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search pipelines.
• Prior experience in domains requiring high correctness and auditability, such as fintech, tax, or legal.
